2011/12 Softball Season
Registration Dates and Sponsors
The Sydney Outfielders Association launch the season today announcing Open Registration for the 2011/12 Season on their website www.sydneyoutfielders.org.au from 1 August 2011.
New and returning players can also register in person on Saturday September 17 or Saturday September 24 from 11am-1pm on the field at Australian Technology Park located on Henderson Road, behind the Alexandria Hotel on Garden Street in Alexandria.
"This season we are focused on increasing the social activities for our team. We are excited to be partnering with our new sponsor, The Alexandria Hotel, who will provide a dedicated venue for post-game celebrations" said Dean Hansson, president of league. "The 14th season for the league promises to be the biggest and best season so far with new sponsors SX and gaydar.com.au helping to drive awareness of the league within our community."

About the Sydney Outfielders
Started in 1998, the Sydney Outfielders is a social slow-pitch softball league open to gay men, lesbians and their gay friendly friends. Games are played on Tuesday evenings starting in October and the league is open to all skill levels. More details are available at www.sydneyoutfielders.org.au.
